Sheri holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York University, a Child and Youth Care diploma from George Brown College, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Working from an anti-oppressive and culturally responsive framework, Sheri is dedicated to empowering clients through a positive attitude, validation, compassion, and esteemed interpersonal skills.

With extensive experience in complex mental health settings, Sheri collaborates with individuals and families to overcome barriers, ensuring they lead their most fulfilling lives. Employing a holistic approach, she integrates various therapeutic modalities, including Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS). Sheri adopts a strengths-based, client-centered, and trauma-informed approach to craft individualized and integrative treatment plans, rejecting a one-size-fits-all mentality.

Beyond the clinic, Sheri engages in quality time with friends and family, indulges in reading, practices mindfulness, and contributes to a Day Treatment Program, delivering therapy and services to youth and their families.
